Marketing Intern

Position Description
We are looking for a current or recently graduated marketing student to intern in our marketing department. Your primary goal will be to assist our team in building educational and product related email & social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Segment existing customer list to increase relevance and usefulness of educational and product information sent to them
- Help with planning of monthly & yearly content publishing calendar
- Assist in the non-technical design of email sequences
- Communicate with product team to create briefs for junior copywriters
- A/B split test campaigns for maximum open and engagement rates
- Integrate email captures throughout website, as well as social
- Design social media posts with Canva – native for Facebook and Instagram
Skills
- Outstanding communication skills in person, via phone and email
- Extremely organized and good eye for detail
- Basic design skills for email and social
- Deep understanding of what each platform does best and how to communicate accordingly
- Essential Stacks collaborative tech stack – Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, CS or communications – or related degree
- OR currently studying such a degree
Bonus
- Interest in gut health – especially if formed through a personal journey with digestive health
- Ecommerce-focused email software skills – eg Active Campaign, Klaviyo – including action-based sequences, segmentation and split testing
- Social media marketing experience

- Job type – part time, with the potential for full time work
- Hours – flexible around school, if still studying
- Salary – negotiable based on any experience you have beyond degree
